Espresso West in West Yellowstone

No masks. No signs of handwashing. Few customers in line respect space and very few masks. If you are concerned about COVID go elsewhere.

If you like foo foo drinks, the west special caramel mocha is for you. If you're a straight up coffee drinker, this place is for you. The employees are friendly and helpful, the joint is clean, and the coffee is delicious. And the ice cream. Oh the ice cream. Not much I can say about it besides we loved it so much we stood in the pouring rain in a 4 person deep line just to get the ice cream. The ONLY downside is that they have a tiny awning that fits 1 person, so if it IS raining and you so take my suggestion to grab something there, expect to stand in the rain. Or sing. Or dance. Because the coffee you are about to enjoy will make up for it.

In West Yellowstone visit every year great coffee and the ice cream is so good. Always has young adults working relatives or high school/college students who ate very impressive and professional.

We had a two scooper of the local flavors, Huckleberry and Mountain Moose. The Huckleberry is great for those that want a very subtlety sweet berry flavor with real bits of huckleberry while the moose (mint chocolate chip) really overpowers, for those that love that minty flavor with large chocolate chunks of goodness. The 5 stars actually comes from the coffee they serve. Top notch deep flavored roast that's as good a cup that you can remember!It's gotta be good if they have a 24 oz size cup! You'll come for the ice cream, but you'll leave praising the coffee!

Great little stand for coffee, tea, and ice cream. There is some outdoor seating to the side of the stand, but no indoor seating. It is located next to Jacklin's Fly Shop.

We love their Huckleberry ice cream and have made this place a regular stop just for the ice cream on our trips between Minnesota and Rexburg, Idaho.

We're visiting YNP this week and have been here just about every day, either for coffee or ice cream. Some days, both! Don't be discouraged if there is a line, it moves fast and is worth the wait.

Fantastic best milkshake only place I have found that has wilcoxson cream & coffee fudge. & they use 1/2&1/2 not milk. Don't ask about colories just enjoy at least once. Coffee is pretty good too. Americano always friendly service

This place had really fantastic ice cream! Their milkshakes are VERY thin, which I honestly didn't mind and almost appreciated because some places make them so thick you have no option but to eat them with a spoon. Having them thin by no means took away from the flavor and quality of it, though. Prices slightly steep, but probably in line for a tourist town like West Yellowstone.

Great place! Super yummy ice cream for a great price! 2 scoops on a waffle cone for only $4. It's always a fairly long line but worth the wait! They also have smoothies, shakes & malts. The Buffalo Chip flavor was delightful.

Great little coffee shop/hut. I went for a walk to Starbucks one morning, at the local bakery and had an awful latte. Threw it out after one sip, unsalvageable. Went to Espresso West where they made a great cappuccino for me and all was well with the world.

STOP SEARCHING! This is the coffee shop your looking for. When it comes to coffee it's all about the bean. Delicious espresso from fresh roasted beans. Plus, a wide range of delicious, truly hand crafted specially drinks, too include Italian soda. REALLY, this is coffee shop for the whole family. The bonus to all this is BILLIE, she (yep... she) knows her craft and has the mountain hospitality to go along with it. My wife likes her espresso with heavy cream. Billie didn't have it, but we came back the next day and she did. It's essentially just outside the W entrance to Yellowstone so you can fuel up for your day in the park.

Husband said 5 stars all the way. Great price. We got the Buffalo chips and chocolate ice cream. Let me tell you if you are a chocolate lover go for the Buffalo chips ice cream.

None of the employees were wearing masks despite the state wide mask mandate. Customers are expected to wear masks, which is ironic.

Best coffee around for coffee drinkers. Haven’t found anything else to replace Starbucks on vacation but this is great! Ice cream too.

Absolute best place for coffee, breakfast burritos, banana bead and ice cream! My kids still reminisce about how wonderful it was to go there daily on our trip, super nice staff, too! If there is a wait for ice cream it’s worth it!

We've been to West Yellowstone twice (2016 and 2018) and Espresso West has never disappointed. My wife and I love coffee and this place is a gem. Only wish we lived here so we could get their coffee more often!
